Week of July 18, 2009

even on the stone table.

Whether you prefer subtle shadings or bold splashes of colour
a visit to Corn Hill Nursery will meet your taste.

Roses are still blooming - vivid reds

through shades of pink and peach.

Lilies are everywhere - the retail tables and the decorative beds.

Asian lilies are spectacular

Daylilies have their own grandeur.

Behind the scenes baskets of cuttings are prepared for propagation.

For a break from the colour and heat you could check out the Cedar Café
but even there colour catches the eye
peppers being sautéed or Jalapeño Soup cooling.
