Viburnum trilobum

Large native shrub with edible red fruit suitable for jellies, or the birds. The foliage changes to bright red in the fall, showcasing an intensely coloured all red plant. Red berries last well into the winter until eaten by cedar waxwings or brown thrashers. This plant loves very damp conditions. It will grow in sun or partial shade. Great for a tall background plant and for bird watchers.
