Quadra blooms are very double and are arranged in a symmetrical pattern reminiscent of the older gallica roses. The bush has foliage that is tinted red, and the surface of the older leaves looks like it has been freshly polished. It forms an upright somewhat arching shrub that can be trained as a climber. Flowers nod downward, which makes them ideal for a tall climber.
