Our favorite flowering crab. It has masses of very showy purple pink blooms in spring followed by shiny small red fruits that hang on till winter when eaten by birds. Introduced by the Agriculture Canada Research Station in Morden, Manitoba. Extremely hardy and very disease resistant.
