Parentage: Rosa damascena bifera × Rosa spinosissima
A story of serendipity… a chance seedling appeared, some say in a hedge, in Stanwell, England. A repeat bloomer as the name suggests, Stanwell Perpetual blooms are a soft blush pink with double blossoms, and have the old time charm of a Damask rose. Intensely fragrant. Very rare on its own roots. Growth is thin and wiry and small when young. Allow a couple of years for it to show its potential. A very choice rose.
