Parentage: R. gallica mutation?
Saturated and velvety purple semi-double blooms on a very healthy bush. One of the richest colours in roses. Has been enjoyed for over 500 years. Tuscany is one of the hardiest of the gallica group and is also one of the oldest. Tuscany roots easily and can be propagated by the many suckers that will appear as the plant ages. Rich fragrance.
