Parentage: sport of Blanc Double de Coubert

This rose is a stable sport of Blanc double de Coubert. It is nearly identical in all respects, however, it contains more than double the number of petals than the original plant. In cool weather this rose carries a tinge of pink, but is pure white when open. It is very hardy, vigorous, and covered in deep green coloured leaves. It flowers in waves, and has the same rich fragrance as the original Blanc. Does have a tendency to ball in wet weather.
