Larix × eurolepis ‘Varied Directions’
Very unusual tree whose terminal takes off in various directions with branches that hang pendulously. Selected by Dr. Sidney Waxman of the University of Connecticut from a pair of larch brought in to grace the entrance of the Agriculture building. Oddly enough, the owner of Corn Hill Nursery took courses in the same building in the 1970s. Grow in a moist soil with a pH of 5-7. Very limited supply.
