Thuja occidentalis ‘Woodwardi’

Near perfect round, dwarf tree. Needs no pruning to keep its form, more broad with age. Branchlets are coarse, and pure green in colour, remaining that way over winter. Although often used as a foundation plant, it must be pruned to keep it in bounds. Ours have grown to 3m tall. The best foundation cedar is Little Giant, which stays small. Prefers a moist well drained soil with a pH 0f 6-7.
