Thuja occidentalis ‘Smaragd’

A selection of our native cedar with bright green foliage and a dense pyramidal form with a characteristic pointed tip. Often used for hedging and often seen planted in rows. Dense foliage remains bright green year round. Hardy and adaptable and takes pruning well, although hardly necessary in most cases. This selection of our native cedar (actually not a cedar but an arborvitae) was selected in Denmark.
