Cornus sericea ‘Bud’s Yellow’

This species is native to North America where it is found growing in wet, swampy areas or along lakes and rivers. Tiny, fragrant white flowers appear in spring and make way for whiteish blue berries. The bright yellow stems are a welcome sight in winter when they sing against the green of conifers. Pruning back older plants will encourage bright new growth. Very tolerant of damp soils. Ideal growth in full sun and evenly moist soils but will tolerate a number of conditions.
