Like a sunrise, the colour of this rose changes as it unfolds. Starting as soft vermilion buds, it shifts toward tones of coral and salmon. This unusual colour pattern was key to its being chosen as one of the 49th Parallel Series from Vineland Research and Innovation Centre in Ontario. The bush is moderately vigorous and is very resistant to black spot and mildew. It does show some sensitivity to frog eye (Cercospora rosicola).
