Montauk Daisy. Nipponanthemum nipponicum

One of the most underrated and unknown perennials out there. Forms a clump with a woody base that should be left unpruned. Fleshy foliage is deep green and flowers arrive in fall, when few other plants are in bloom. Looks exactly like a dense clump of daisies. Very hardy plant.
