Zone 3b - Europe. ca. 1400 - 2.5m / 8ft
Parentage: Unknown, possibly a Rosa alba mutation
Large, creamy double blooms with handsome gray-green foliage. Once called the Jacobite rose or the Great White Rose, this was a very popular cultivar in 16th century Europe. This bush will grow quite tall but requires little in terms of pruning. The shoots are fairly smooth with few prickles. Incredibly fragrant during summer, and has a display of red-orange hips in the winter.
