Parentage: Rosa kordesii × Rosa rugosa

Very robust upright plant with dark shiny foliage, wine red stems, and large, bright scarlet red single blossoms that have a delicate fruity fragrance. Repeats till frost. A 50% winter killback is typical with this rose in our Zone 4 site. Note: one of the photos shows Robusta with a bloom of Quadra, which is very double.
