Wild thyme, creeping thyme, wooly thyme. Thymus languinosus & serpyllum.

These are very low creeping groundcovers that are excellent in rock gardens cascading over rocks and walls. Often used between pathway stones. These need perfect drainage and full sun, although they will survive some shade.

Varieties:

1. Thymus languinosus: Woolly thyme, fuzzy felted grey leaves.

2. Thymus serpyllum ‘Carneus’: Creeping thyme, primarily used as ground-cover.
