An exceptionally hardy and healthy tree that produces oblong fruits that begin yellow and gradually blush and turn deep red when mature. Superb for jelly and pickled crabs as the fruits are naturally sweet. Good for eating as well with a unique strawberry-pineapple flavour. Profuse white flowers in spring. Excellent pollinator. Resistant to scab.
