George Vancouver is part of the Canadian Explorer series. It has shown little or no damage when subjected to temperatures down to -35°C / -30°F. It has a neat growing habit and deep green, shiny foliage. It forms a wide, rounded bush with deep red stems. Flowers begin in early summer, and into fall you’ll find the bush is still loaded with blooms. The blooms are semi-double with scalloped petals, opening up as a reddish-orange colour and fading to dark pink before falling cleanly off the bush.
