Humulus lupulus ‘Nugget’

Golden leafed form of Nugget, a standard clone in the brewing world. Dies down each winter and heads for sky in the spring. Prized for the dried flowers used in beer making. Provide a moist well drained soil with a pH of 6-7. Structures should have narrow uprights to allow the vines to twine around them. Commercially these are trained up twine to a high wire then cut when ripe and the flower heads harvested.
