This is one of the moss roses of Rosa centifolia. Soft glandular prickles give the buds and stems a mossy effect. Henri Martin displays crimson red flowers and blooms heavily in early summer. The blooms are carried by wiry, slender stems, that are deceptively harmless looking. Generally upright, but somewhat spreading.
