Green turning yellow, sometimes with a russet blush, firm, sweet melting flesh similar to ‘Bartlett.’ Keeps well. Will not pollinate other pears. Patten and Summercrisp are good for pollinators for Luscious. This is an extremely hardy selection and is very resistant to scab.
