Louise Swenson is an extremely hardy grape variety developed by Elmer Swenson, ideal for colder regions like New Brunswick. While the vines grow slowly at first, they eventually produce high-quality white wine with distinctive honey flavours and floral aromas. This variety is quickly becoming the grape of choice for winemaking in northern climates, thriving in well-drained soils with a pH of 6–7.
