St. Pepin is a very sweet grape variety that produces a wine with excellent body and a perfect sugar/acid balance. This grape is also a treat right off the vine or as fresh juice. Developed by Elmer Swenson of Wisconsin, St. Pepin is highly regarded for its versatility, thriving in cold climates and offering an excellent option for both fresh consumption and wine production. Best grown in well-drained soils with a pH of 6–7.
